Radial filter tubes
Radial design (FOTI)
Applied for filtration from the inside to the outside (FITO).
The profiles are welded on the outside of the inner support bars. The inside of the work surface is smooth and interrupted by the support bars.Small tolerances on the gap opening may be up to 50 microns. If you wish smaller gap openings, we need to use 11UH®, 12UH®, 11UV® or 12UV® profiles. These filters are used in reflux filters to filter all kinds of liquids (e.g. seawater).

Radial design (FITO)
Applied for filtration from the outside to the inside (FOTI) Used for filters with small gap openings (up to 10 micron). The profiles are welded on the outside of the inner support bars. The outside of the work surface is smooth. Small tolerances on the gap opening are achievable. An average of 10 microns is perfectly possible on a desired gap opening of 10 microns. This type of filter can be made in sizes between 45 mm as minimum diameter and 110 mm as maximum diameter. The maximum length is 1 m.
The smooth filter surface of the welded filter tubes ensures that the filter can be easily cleaned using either a scraper or brush as well as backwash. When using welded filter tubes, the customer is not bound to recurring costs, while paper and mesh filters are impossible to clean and therefore have to be replaced on a regular basis.

Radial design with various gap openings
It is possible to combine various gap openings in one filter tube.
In such design, the length and gap opening of each zone must be indicated.
This application is often used in radial FITO and FOTI filter tubes with a large gap opening. At the end a few threads are provided with tighter gap opening so any end pieces can be welded more easily.
